Building Relationships With Yoga

18 South launched its first session of Yoga and Pilates classes for teens on Monday, Sept. 10. This first session also includes classes on Oct. 1, Nov. 12, and Dec. 10. Tammy Talarico (pictured above), who teachers Yoga at York College of Pennsylvania and attends Cornerstone Fellowship of York, has volunteered to run this workshop for Red Lion’s teens. We are so grateful for her generosity!

We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to area youth, and we are hoping this new offering is just the beginning of many more to come. Do you have an idea for a workshop you could help run at 18 South?

Additionally, we’re desiring to launch a two-hour after school studying and tutoring program once a week during the 2012-2013 school year. Could you and/or someone you know volunteer two hours each month to help build this program from the ground up?

What other creative ideas do you have about how you could get involved? We want to hear them!
