Red Lion Elks Donate $3k to 18 South

The Red Lion Elks Lodge #1592 has infused $3,000.00 into People That Care (PTC) Youth Services this summer. PTC Youth Services owns and operates 18 South Youth Center in Red Lion, Pa. The funds will be used to support the growth of the youth center’s after school line up during the 2015-2016 school year.

Starting in September, 18 South will offer an Open Studio art program on Mondays from 3-5 p.m., a Grub Club cooking program on Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m., and an Open Studio homework program on Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. All after school programming is free for all local teens, ages 13-18. In addition to providing enriching activities and healthy snacks, the programs aim to provide a safe, positive environment where youth can be encouraged.

The funds were presented by Elks Representatives Reuben Shenberger, Jr. (pictured left), and Rodney Grove (pictured right) on June 17, 2015 to PTC Youth’s Board Chair & Treasurer, Eric Osterberg (pictured center).

Thanks so much to the Elks for believing in 18 South Youth Center and supporting the next generation of Red Lion!
