Tire Garden Receives Graffiti Upgrade

During the past several years we have worked to make many improvements to the exterior of 18 South Youth Center in an attempt to create a more inviting and positive impression for local youth. Most recently, the tire garden that surrounds the entrance to our facility received a unique graffiti upgrade thanks to the talent and generosity of Ramon Trevino. Ramon is a York County graffiti artist who uses his talents as a ministry to share the love of God. He owns an art gallery called Gallery Red @ Warehouse 210, which is located at 210 West Grant Street in Lancaster, and his trademark style can be identified throughout the area – including 18 South’s basement! When we were looking to repaint the youth center’s faded tire garden, Ramon offered to donate his services and create a beautiful work of art with the tires. Thank you so much for continuing to make 18 South look funky for local teens, Ramon!

We would be remiss if we forgot to also thanks Brooks Huff Tire & Auto Center on South Queen Street in York for donating the tires for this project. Thank you so much!
