18 South Bids Farewell to Quoss

PTC Youth Services is bidding a fond farewell to Jim Quoss, who is stepping down from our board of directors in August 2016 after faithfully serving as a board member for more than three years. Jim serves as the pastor of Freedom Biker Church in York and works as an IP Communications Specialist at Fulton Financial.

Jim and his wife, Jackie, reside in Red Lion with their son, Jesse, and have been faithful volunteers at 18 South Youth Center since its doors opened in 2007. Their motivation for serving at the youth center was the opportunity to help provide a safe environment for teens to spend their time as an alternative to hanging on the streets.

“It will always warm my heart to see one of the young people I met at the youth center at a store or out on the road and know, through the youth center, we were able to do life together, even if only for a moment in time,” Jim said. “If only one teen was impacted; if only one were saved, it would all be worth it. To know the impact goes far beyond that is life changing.”

We are so grateful for the nine years of volunteer service he and his wife, Jackie, committed to 18 South Youth Center!
