18 South Youth Ministries Elects New Board Member

18 South Youth Ministries, Inc., is thrilled to announce the addition of a new member to our Board of Directors: Don Smith.

An attendee of Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, Don is currently employed by Met-Ed as a Customer Support Specialist IV. As a CSS IV, and manages major accounts.

A graduate of Red Lion High School, Don has been a lifelong York County resident and is the proud father and step-father to 5 children. Smith is excited to bring everything he can to the board of 18 South.

“18 South and their mission are dear to me for two reasons. First, my roots are entrenched in this area. I have seen the struggles of families and their children and feel it is past time to give back.” Don said.

“Second, is the testimony I heard from a youth center student, Dominic, at an 18 South event. His passion was evident and contagious. He pushed my interest in 18 South over the top. I knew I had to pursue working with this ministry.”
